What should I expect on my first visit to Sloco Massage + Wellness?

Whether it’s your first visit or trying out a new service, our team will walk you through everything! You should receive a message asking you to complete a brief intake form allowing us to better understand your goals. We encourage you to review your pre-appointment email to make sure that you come prepared for your appointment. If you have any questions, you’re more than welcome to call and ask! Our Wellness Advocates will walk you through your experience from start to finish. If you’re coming in for a massage, you’ll have the opportunity to talk with your massage therapist about your goals and preferences, so that they can personalize your session. Our goal is to make sure that you leave with next steps to help you reach your goals because visiting us once is great for an experience, but you’ll get lasting and life-changing results with regular visits!

How do I choose the right service if I’m new to Sloco?

We understand that a lot of our services are unfamiliar to people, so please know that you don’t have to figure this out alone! You can start by sharing your main goals (pain relief, stress reduction, better sleep, recovery, or overall wellness) and we’ll recommend the best massage or wellness services for you. You can also call, email, or stop by our San Luis Obispo wellness center for guidance on building a plan that fits your body, schedule, and budget.

Yes, we offer gift cards for massage and wellness services at Sloco Massage + Wellness in San Luis Obispo. Gift cards can be used toward any eligible service or retail purchase, making them a flexible option for birthdays, holidays, employee appreciation or “just because”!. You can purchase gift cards online or at our wellness center, and choose the amount that fits your budget.

The beauty of our massage menu is that it’s simple, yet endlessly customizable. Every Personalized Therapeutic Massage blends techniques like relaxing Swedish, Sports Massage, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point, and Myofascial Release work—along with any specialties your therapist brings—so the session matches your goals, preferences, and how your body responds in real time. You can share the experience with a side-by-side massage (great for those looking for a couples massage experience), or choose our dedicated Pregnancy Massage if you’re expecting. Every session can be enhanced with aromatherapy, targeted spot treatments, and more to create the level of care your body needs that day.

Do you offer wellness or massage memberships?

Absolutely! The people who see the best results from our services are the ones who put their care on repeat! Memberships are designed to help hold you accountable and ensure that you make taking care of your body a priority. We have wellcare plans for our Express Wellness Services as well as a Monthly Massage Program.
