Supporting the Heart of San Luis Obispo: Why We’re Proud Members of the Downtown SLO Association
Our SLO story began in the heart of downtown San Luis Obispo. When SLOCO Massage (we rebranded a few times since then) first opened its doors, we were surrounded by the energy of the Thursday Farmers’ Market, the music echoing through the alleys, and the familiar faces that make downtown SLO so special.
Though we later moved just a few blocks away to the historic Railroad District, our connection to downtown never left us. We’ve been proud paid honorary members of the Downtown SLO Association for many years because we believe that supporting the heart of SLO supports all of us. This partnership allows us to stay rooted in the community that helped us grow.
In 2014, we settled into our beautiful space in the Historic Railroad District with easy parking for those who love downtown but prefer a quick and convenient stop for massage and wellness services. Then in 2020, we expanded our offerings to serve our community’s wellness needs in a bigger way with more cutting edge modalities.
Our ongoing membership with the Downtown SLO Association perfectly aligns with our mission: to support both economic vitality and personal wellbeing in the community we call home. Because at Sloco, wellness isn’t something we do in isolation… it’s something we build together, one connection at a time, right here in San Luis Obispo.
