Earthday is everyday at SLOCO Massage and Wellness Spa! We are passionate about sustainable, environmentally friendly products, and we practice what we preach.

It starts from the ground-up. We put in natural cork flooring that comes from a renewable resource. From there the walls are covered in zero VOC paint, and all lighting is LED, which is powered by wind and solar from Arcadia power.

We don’t stop there, our bathrooms include Sink Positive toilets to help save water, and sustainable recycled bamboo toilet paper.

Our goal is to be zero waste by the end of 2017, and in the mean time we have compostable garbage liners, and even our hair removal wax is biodegradable.

We know that we set an example for our guests, and so on top of walking our walk, we encourage others to do the same. The healthy habits marketplace includes items which promote sustainable living, like our reusable glass straws, which themselves are BPA free, hypoallergenic, and use nontoxic coloring.

When you let us take care of you at SLOCO Massage, you can rest assured that we’re also taking care of the earth at the same time!

Natasha Prybyla
Students training to become massage therapists, are often encouraged by instructors to work for a spa before opening up their own practice. After studying the beneficial effects of massage therapy, Natasha Noel realized that her outlook on this healing art was not in line with the practices of most spas. So, despite the advice of her instructors, Natasha founded SLOCO Massage in 2010, right after graduating from the California Holistic Institute.
