What to Expect
BrainTap sessions happen in our Recharge Lounge, which is a community style setting. BrainTap can also be added on to other services too! The calming, rejuvenating effects of 10-20 minutes of braintapping serve to balance your nervous system and inoculate you against the stressors of everyday life.
The lightweight headset contains a set of headphones and a visor that will cover your eyes. The headphones playback positive messages but also shine lights into your ears with the intention to calm the nervous system. While your eyes are closed during your session, the eye visor will emit blue pulsing lights. With combination of these lights and binaural beats, guided visualization, 10 cycle holographic music and isochronic tones.

Maximize Results
Before Your Session
Prepare for your BrainTap session however you wish. Some people might want to unwind by going for a walk around the block, others will know that they’ll be able to drop in as soon as they sit down. Comfortable clothing is recommended but not required. Save meals for after your session if possible.
Recommended Frequency
Regular use is key! It is important to have a consistent practice when it comes to meditation and mindfulness. A daily meditation practice can be lifechanging! People who do multiple sessions per week have the best results in their practice. Whenever you need a quiet space or feel like you need an appointment to hold you accountable to meditate, then we recommend that you use the Somadome!
After Your Session
Sessions often leave people feeling relaxed, replenished or recharged, however an unwinding effect may occur, leaving you feeling a little sluggish or even going through an emotional detox before having that great breakthrough. As you go back out into the world, remember to be kind to yourself and continue your meditation practice at home in between visits.
Considerations
The good news is that meditation is safe for everyone, however, BrainTap sessions are recommended for persons with a healthy brain. If you have severe mental health disorders, a seizure-related condition or severe heart problems, you may want to ask your physician about using bianural beats, even though adverse reactions are extremely rare.
