How many times have you said those words only to be put on the back burner due to work deadlines, traffic, family obligations and other stressors. The truth is, most people tend to put everything before their own self-care. It’s no wonder why health conditions like high blood pressure, heart attacks, compromised immunity, depression and anxiety are on the rise. Research has shown self-care helps manage stress and promotes happiness.

Wellness Month was born out of the idea that if we are going to do big things in the world— build our careers, raise a family, further our education, create new ideas, and nurture our bodies — we need to take care of ourselves. Take the pledge this August to choose wellness— and prioritize yourself and your well-being. The truth is — you can do big things and take care of yourself at the same time.

Just because we’re closed, doesn’t mean that you can’t take self-care into your own hands. We believe wellness is a lifestyle, and visits to us are only part of that.
